Brooklyn based alternative pop artist, Rivita, set to release her new single 'Her Ghost' spreading awareness about mental health in February 2019.
Are there days in your life when you feel like flying as if you can conquer the world and achieve anything? Are their days when you feel like nothing can make you smile, everything feels like a drag and you feel removed from yourself. Last year, being an exciting year for Rivita, considering the release of her audio-visual debut EP 'Tribal Love' and the launch of her project 'The Traveling Studio', compelled her to feel and tell stories through her music like never before.
“Her Ghost captures the emotions that come with living an exciting life. The hook "She comes and goes, where no one knows, she comes and goes, now I’m her ghost" explains how I feel, most days I am super happy and upbeat but then there are days I wonder where did I go? With this song, I want to help spread the importance of mental health and being empathetic not only to others but to ourselves. This song is about cutting yourself some slack and chilling so take a deep breath and say Yay!” states Rivita.
Rivita is a pioneer in her field of alternative music, her vision is to incorporate eastern sounds and blend them with ultra-electro-pop melodies. Her vision gets stronger and bolder with each release. Rivita spends hours in her lab writing, recording, producing and mixing her music. Rivita travels the world and tells the stories of her experiences through her music and videos. On her journeys, Rivita has met some amazing people and on 'Her Ghost' she collaborated with Monty Craig on guitar, Lauren Wundrock on backing vocals and John Webber who mastered the track. 'Her Ghost' comes out on the 15th of February, save the date!
