INTRODUCING THE EXTRAVAGANT FIRST AND ONE OF A KIND UMLAZI ARTS AND BUSINESS AWARDS (UMABA)
Just when you think you have seen all sorts of exciting awards with combinations of all genres of music, arts, business or sports. UMABA Awards comes with an exciting and innovative angle to collaborate the two elements of arts and business. One of the important reasons why these awards were invented was to highlight the importance of acknowledging that arts and business go hand in hand, one can barely survive without the other. Artists need to be business minded and entrepreneurs need to open their doors to artists, there can’t be any more scandals of artists dying poor or being robbed of their royalties. The awards aim to celebrate both these two in a harmonious gathering but before the main ceremony can happen there will be a launch where more details of how the awards nominations will be selected will be given.
