By / Entertainment / Monday, 17 August 2020 09:59

Looking at Social Media and the news daily has become so heart-breaking with all the Farm Murders and Gender-Based Violence in South Africa.

Well-known South African musician, Jason Oosthuizen has decided it's time to play a part in raising awareness for these 2 serious issues as there is not enough anyone can do to make the victims heard.

Following on from the PLAY IT FORWARD initiative for TATTOOERS UNITE SA & #FEEDOURCREW, OOOTH is pleased to announce OOOTH raises awareness for FARM MURDERS & GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE.

Oooth will be performing LIVE once again via FACEBOOK LIVE & YOUTUBE LIVE to raise awareness through SOCIAL MEDIA.

The show will feature a live performance of the OOOTH ACOUSTIC ALBUM LAUNCH as well as a chat session with a representative from SA WOMEN FIGHT BACK on Gender-Based Violence as well as a special guest on Farm Murders.

Questions to the representatives can be sent in prior to the event as well as during the event and donations raising funds for the causes (FARM MURDERS & GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE) are welcomed before and during the show.

“If we all stand together anything is achievable. Let’s unite as a country to speak up for the victims, keep farmers, farmworkers and our women & children safe” – said Jason.
