The Firestone Karaoke Kombi (#FirestoneKK) campaign will involve two Volkswagen Kombis. The two Kombis – one a classic 1972 VW Brasília kombi and the other one brand new - will be converted into mobile karaoke studios. Fittingly, the Brasília kombi is host to the large catalogue of old-school songs, while its newer sibling features the best of new school karaoke songs.

Behind the scenes, a team of audio technicians record each performance and upload it to the Internet, before sharing it via mobile message with the singers and their friends.

Firestone remains one of South Africa’s most popular tyre brands and one of the best-known, as it has been a feature on South African roads since 1936. It is the pioneer of the popular Tyre Damage Guarantee (TDG), which replaces a damaged Firestone tyre for only the cost of the tread used on that tyre.

RUGBY: We will be screening the Rugby on the main stage!

Clamber Club is an extensive and exciting sensory motor programme that gets children moving, promoting fitness, health and learning. We know that children learn best when they’re enjoying themselves.

Our Clamber Club party obstacle course and equipment will be set-up at the Capital Craft Beer Festival Kiddies Entertainment area this year, offering a safe place for your 2-12-year-old kids to enjoy the outing.

The obstacle course is unique and our team of entertainers are trained to keep your children active and happy as they tumble, roll, jump, climb and jog!

Jog the Frog, our Clamber Club Fitness mascot, will also join in the fun and we will be offering face painting, colouring in competitions and various age-appropriate games.

There will also be, surprise live performances by the musicians performing at the festival
