Described by some in the local music industry as being ‘the next best thing to Table Mountain’, Cape Townian indie-rock powerhouse, Reburn took some time to chat to Nick Darke in the latest episode of The SA Artist Spotlight.
The band’s first release from their latest album “Majestic”, enjoyed high rotation on 5FM, MFM; TUKSFM, Voice of Wits Radio and many other local radio stations.
Nick chatted to Craig Hermanus (guitar, vocals), Scottie Moore (lead vocals), Alex McFarlane (guitar, vocals), Matt Norman (bass guitar) and Nicholas Oebell (drums) about stylishly falling into crowds, Scottie’s “soft-metal” past and how Reburn has matured musically over the years, how they have honed their craft and stuck to what they do best in the past ten years. Viewers are in for a special treat with Reburn performing exclusive unplugged renditions of ‘I Remember the Days’ and ‘Bitter Ending’ in this week’s episode.
