Famous for his track, ‘Skinny Love’ off, ‘For Emma, Forever Ago’, Bon Iver has announced the name for his upcoming fourth new album titled, ‘i,i’.

Last month, Bon Iver released a pair of new songs, ‘Hey Ma’ below! and U (Mand Like) teasing the release of a new album, Justin Vernon and his band finally made the announcement today and are expected to release the new album on August 30th.

Bon Ivor debuted with his beloved, ‘For Emma, Forever Ago’ in 2008 as a winter album and his self-titled album came out in the spring of 2011, which symbolized rebirth. ‘22, A Million’ was released in summer of 2016, it’s seen as no accident that ‘i.i’ will arrive in the fall.

"It feels very much like the most adult record, the most complete," Vernon writes in announcing i,i. "It feels like when you get through all this life, when the sun starts to set, and what happens is you start gaining perspective. And then you can put that perspective into more honest, generous work."
