Today sees the release of ‘Flowers Don’t Speak’, a 4-track EP by Kimon Rayne, South Africa’s, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer.

Rayne has performed at many of South Africa’s top festivals, including, Splashy Fen, Lush Festival and Smoking Dragon.

While Rayne’s music is rooted in South Africa with tribal rhythms often accenting his records, Kimon’s sonic style is evident by an electronic edge with global crossover appeal.

Kimon comments: “As a human, we go through hardships that are unlike anything faced by another living creature. Each defeat forcing us to grow closer to who we were always meant to be. If a flower could speak, it would have countless lessons to teach us. Lessons about growth and overcoming the harshest circumstances in order to flourish. A flower has no voice, so then we are on our own. At least we have each other.”

Rayne has attained support and guidance from one of SA’s star producers, Timo ODV as well as support and mentorship from Kostakis of one of SA’s most beloved electronic duo’s Crazy White Boy.

Kimon Rayne has gone on to release an EP titled, ‘Unconscious’ and released several other singles over the years. He has also performed alongside popular acts such as Goodluck, Kyle Watson, The Kiffness and Veranda Panda.

"Kimon Rayne’s latest EP “Flowers Can’t Speak” is tender in its minimalism but still has enough groove to get the feet tapping." - Daniel Luckhoff-wessels. - Full Review here!
