Durban-based singer-songwriter ZAZZ has unveiled the video for her single ‘Collide’ off her album, THESE FIRST STEPS, which was released in July 2019.

The video for ‘Collide’ speaks up against gender-based violence and tells a story of the physical and mental abuse that occurs in relationships.

“My hope for this video is to evoke anger about Gender-based violence. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors, whether it’s your friend, mother, sister or daughter experiencing this in ‘the comfort’ of their own home. I hope this song encourages women to stand up and fight, to know that they deserve better. That they are good enough! The moment when fear and faith collide and these women realise that enough is enough. I want women to realise their worth!” - Explains ZAZZ

Her album, THESE FIRST STEPS can be found on all digital platforms including Amazon, Google Play, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer & Tidal
