Leftover Bullets' latest single 'Confused' is a fun, albeit cliché trip back in time.

Greek hard-rockers Leftover Bullets show their proficiency but fail to find an original voice with their latest glam-tinged single 'Confused'.

If you think about any of the great rock ‘n’ roll bands we’ve seen since the genre was born the one thing they all have in common is the way they took the existing rules and shaped them into something new.

Leftover Bullets, with their driving riffs, steady rhythms, and squealing guitars fall short of that with 'Confused'. It’s always difficult taking on a genre that’s seemingly been pilfered of anything valuable and fresh, and it’s that lack of originality that’s clear to see here.

But all that aside, there’s a reason squealing guitars and driving beats are still being produced today. They might not have found something unique or defining but what they have done will make you want to let your hair down and party like it’s 1986 again.
