English pop act Props delivers some real talk in his latest single ‘Wired.’

‘Wired’ by English pop act Props is an examination of our fast-paced world backed by a spacious, relaxed beat.

Opening with the line “Sleep when you’re dead ‘cause you’re all hooked up on blue light,” ‘Wired’ is an honest look at what we do to try and keep up with the pressures of being successful in the midst of an impatient society driven by its need for instant gratification.

Rather than make the beat the central focus, Props uses it along with the melodies to create a foundation for the lyrics, giving them space to breathe and deliver their message. The end product is a song filled with meaning that can be enjoyed through headphones or at a house party.

‘Wired’ by Props subverts the pop model to draw attention to the lyrics and deliver social commentary that needs to be heard.
