Sons get messy with their latest single 'Sweat'.

Sons, a raucous two-piece rock act made up of brothers Lee and Nick Meldrum, have released a simultaneously intense and catchy single in 'Sweat'.

With a handful of singles under their belts and endorsements from the likes of Kerrang! Radio, BBC Radio 1, and Radio X the lads from Brighton are on a mission to keep angsty, reckless rock ‘n’ roll alive and kicking.

Staying true to the sound of previous singles like 'Zealot' and 'Reptiles', 'Sweat' is a pounding, riff-heavy number that doesn’t let up in its intensity. You can hear the anger, the frustration, and the masochistic excitement in Lee Meldrum’s voice as he falls for someone he knows is going to treat him like nothing more than a play-thing.

Matching the relentless guitar lines is Nick Meldrum’s drumming. From the jump he’s there adding to the song’s menace and bringing an extra level of balls-to-the-walls chaos.

Sons have been making waves on the UK circuit and 'Sweat' makes it easy to see why. Their sound is familiar but with a distinctive edge that keeps them from being derivative.
