ISLA returns to comfort the music scene with another feel-good alternative-pop creation entitled ‘Closure’ - a rhythm enriched song inspired by the process of letting go of toxic friendships and coming to terms with reality.

ISLA’s latest work explores the courage required to be honest and communicate emotions in friendships and relationships; regardless of the outcome. It encourages listeners to discard negative feelings and break ties with people who don’t have your best interest at heart in order to discover freedom through release. ‘Closure’ demonstrates a beautiful balance between upbeat rhythmic phrases, subtle vocal harmonies and comforting sound effects while staying true to ISLA’s musical style that was introduced in her first single - ‘Break the Fall’, last month.

Teaming up once more with the production powers of HEproducedit (Howard Edward) at Cosher Recording Studios; ISLA wrote and composed her latest single based on personal experiences that many people may find relatable in modern society.

If you find yourself surrounded by unsavoury characters or in a general rut; ‘Closure’ is highly recommended by Matt Roux as: ‘exactly what you need to get up in the morning’ - and the relatable lyrics of ISLA are surely there to assist every step of the way!
