Fox Comet is a melodic funk-rock band with a new-wave urban edge sound. Fox Comet will be performing at this year's UP THE CREEK Festival and they are set to bring you some exciting tunes and high energy at this year's show. Underground Press is pleased and happy to bring you this exclusive interview with Kyle Gray of Fox Comet
Which are the 5 things that are essential to bring to Up The Creek?
Sunblock, Cossie, Lilo, Water Pistols and Milk Thistle.
What can fans expect from your performance at UTC?
Fans can expect a high energy funky, hard gees water mosh pit that will leave them adjusting their cossies between and after the set.
What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you on stage?
We played a festival where a dude rubbed his pink feather on Rob' s crotch.
What is the most haywire/unpleasant thing that has happened to you regarding a show or having to be at one?
One of the most insane things that ever happened is a guy stage dived naked and one of us got his sweaty bum in our face and another thing after a festival gig we played, our drummer tossed his drumsticks into the crowd and instead of lobbing it he threw it hard and it hit the fan directly in the head, which leads to heavy bleeding.
Which bands are you looking forward to seeing at Up the Creek?
We're looking forward to all of them but if we had to choose a few they would be Mango Groove, Native Young, Sublime Tribute Show, West Coast Wolves, Southern Wild, Nomadic Orchestra and Crimson House.
What are your plans for 2018?
Because this is a reunion show, 2018 will be still focused on our careers and working towards our stable RA’s, spending quality time with the people we love and just being in the moment. Up The Creek, we're going old school! See you at the River Stage or by the bar
