Beloved Recently released their EP, "Promises and Lies", I had a listen and this is what I thought. 

Beloved, is a 4 piece band out of Johannesburg who are fast becoming a phenomenon in the S.A Grunge circuit.

Their new EP, "Promises and Lies is an outstanding example of extraordinary perfection when South African musicians work hard together and puts together a masterpiece.

With just 4 tracks on the EP, each song is carefully constructed with their knowledge and love for what they do.

Having listened to their EP for the first time, I was surprised at how far SA has come and how far we still have to go, yet noticed the very similarities with international bands such as, Hole, Nirvana, and Bush, yet Beloved have managed to uniquely make it their own.

Now this band certainly have an exciting sound and have most definitely got what it takes to put SA on the map.
