Johannesburg, 27 June 2024: It’s almost time for the mid-year school holidays in South Africa, and youth in Gauteng have even more to look forward to. NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer have announced that, following its resounding success last year, the DreamWorks “Find the Fun” channel activation will return to the Mall of Africa. This unique experience will run from Friday, June 28, until Sunday, July 7, providing hours of unforgettable fun every day.

Situated in the Crystal Court in the mall’s upper level, “Find the Fun” is free of charge and includes daily appearances from DreamWorks characters at 1:00 PM. Across the 10 days, young fans can enjoy delightful meet-and-greet photo opportunities with Poppy, Queen of the Trolls; King Julien from Madagascar; Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse; and the legendary cat, Puss in Boots.

The DreamWorks “Find the Fun” activation includes everything dreams are made of and more! Young visitors will be able to slide down a Trolls rainbow, test their memory skills with the DreamWorks character memory game wall, play on mini trampolines, have fun with a face cutout wall and a soft play area, and win prizes through exciting daily games. Plus, there will be a screening area, where kids can enjoy the DreamWorks channel’s filmed entertainment.

DreamWorks “Find the Fun” will be open during Mall of Africa’s regular trading hours.

Available on DStv channel 304 across Africa, DreamWorks is a 24-hour channel dedicated to kids and family entertainment featuring some of the world’s most beloved big-screen characters and franchises. DreamWorks is also part of DStv’s Open Window for the winter school holidays. Between 15 June – 7 July, DreamWorks is available to all DStv subscribers.
