Taking over the mall’s iconic Centre Court, the activation introduces a lively candy-inspired environment where colour, flavour and creativity converge, inviting visitors to step into a playful yet polished space dedicated to sweet indulgence. 

Designed as an immersive pop-up, the Chocolate Café: Sweet Edition, which will be open daily from 9 am to 6 pm, offers a fresh take on Easter indulgence. Towering candy tubes filled with a wide selection of sweets will create a striking centrepiece, while the surrounding space invites visitors to explore, taste and personalise their experience. 

A Playful World of Wweets and Discovery

The opportunity to curate your own sweet selection lies at the heart of this experience. Visitors will get to select their favourite treats from the colourful candy tubes, creating a personalised mix to take home or enjoy on the spot.

Interactive elements will add an extra layer of fun, with experiences such as Find Your Fortune, Spin the Wheel, and What Candy Are You? offering light-hearted moments throughout the visit. For younger guests, the Build-A-Bear station will provide a hands-on creative moment, encouraging them to design their own creations in an imaginative space.

Indulgent Moments With a Refined Touch

Alongside the playful elements, Chocolate Café: Sweet Edition brings a selection of premium treats into the mix. Guests looking to pause and enjoy the moment will get to savour barista-style coffee at a Nespresso activation, while Chateau Gateaux’s signature cake slices will also be available to enjoy. 

A curated selection of well-loved confectionery brands will be available, including Lindt, Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Joy and Cadbury, alongside local favourites such as Sally Williams and Beacon. Visitors will also be able to personalise a Lindt Bunny ribbon for a thoughtful Easter touch or enjoy treats like Krispy Kreme doughnut sets and chilled chocolate beverages.

With its blend of creativity, indulgence and interactive moments, Chocolate Café: Sweet Edition will offer a delightful way to celebrate Easter in the heart of Sandton. Entry is free, with sweets and treats available for purchase in a variety of sizes.
