Umhlanga, 6 July 2023: The school holidays are around the corner and kids in KwaZulu-Natal have a lot to look forward to. The popular Zoot ‘n Scoot will return to Cornubia Mall on Saturday 8 July, promising a morning filled with thrills for 2 – 10-year olds at the popular Umhlanga shopping centre.

Now in its second year, Zoot n Scoot is a push-bike race, which allows kids to ride their bikes through the mall walkways either independently or with support from their parents. This unique, exhilarating event is held in the safety of Cornubia Mall’s customer walkways, allowing kids to have loads of fun and enjoy healthy competition as they aim for the finish line. Last year over 100 little cyclists participated.

Entries cost R85 and include a goodie bag filled with treats. Zoot n Scoot officially starts at 8:00 AM on Saturday, 8 July. There are fantastic prizes up for grabs, including for the best-decorated bike.

The fun doesn’t end there. Cornubia Mall has long been a friend to the cycling community and will ensure fun for the entire family on the day. Both Pocatello Spur and Panarotti’s will be offering a special for kids to eat free with every parent that orders a main meal, with more special offers for friends and supporters to be announced soon.

Zoot n Scoot gives young children an opportunity to make new friends, engage in gentle, friendly competition, and learn from others. To register, or for more information, visit the mall’s website or social media feeds @cornubiamall. Let the fun bike rides begin!
