Johannesburg, 4 August 2025 – The world of cosmetic transformation gets a second take in Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, a bold new reality series premiering on E! (DStv 124) on Sunday, 17 August at 7:05pm, with new episodes airing weekly until the season finale on 5 October 2025.
Hosted by the outspoken Michelle Visage (RuPaul’s Drag Race), with guidance from acclaimed plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow (Botched) and body image therapist Dr. Spirit, PhD, the show explores a critical question: can beauty be rewound?
The series follows nine celebrities and influencers as they retreat into a transformation-focused experience dubbed the “Rewind Retreat.” Together, they confront previous surgical decisions and face the possibility of going back to a more natural look—both physically and emotionally. With candid reflections, emotional breakthroughs, and comedic moments, Plastic Surgery Rewind challenges beauty norms in the age of filters and filler.
Who’s Going Natural?
- Aubrey O’Day: Pop star and reality mainstay (Danity Kane) contemplates reversing facial fillers.
- Kim Zolciak (Real Housewives of Atlanta) and daughter Brielle Biermann re-evaluate facial procedures in the wake of life changes.
- Jessica Dime, rapper and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star, fears “toning down” might hurt her brand.
- Larissa Santos Lima (90 Day Fiancé) wants functionality over aesthetics after years of transformation.
- Sebastian Bails, YouTuber and social media sensation, surprises everyone with his surgery motivations.
- Sophia Elgerabli, influencer and model, seeks to transition her image for business credibility.
- Alan McGarry, known for their LGBTQ+ advocacy, is rethinking a BBL gone wrong.
- Kathy Brown, ex-Playboy model, wants her life – and body – back after painful augmentation.
Produced by Fulwell Entertainment, the show is executive produced by Matt Cox, Rebecca Hertz, Emma Conway, Charlie Van Vleet, Ben Turner, and Dr. Terry Dubrow himself.
If the first Botched showed the price of perfection, Plastic Surgery Rewind might just expose the cost of chasing it.
