According to Paramedics, they responded to a call of a woman in full cardiac arrest around 10:37 a.m.

Six minutes later, paramedics showed up, according to Craig Little, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County fire department. After administering CPR and confirming that the woman was showing signs of life, they transported her to a neighbouring hospital in West Hills for more care.

According to her mother, Priscilla Presley confirmed on Instagram that her daughter, Lisa, died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

In a statement released Thursday night, Priscilla Presley stated, "It is with a sad heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us." She was the most fervent, courageous, and loving lady I've ever met.

TMZ was the first to disclose Presley's hospitalization, and Priscilla later confirmed it in a tweet in which she begged for prayers.

"Lisa Marie, my cherished daughter, was taken to the hospital. She's currently getting the best treatment. We ask that you remember her and our family in your prayers." We acknowledge the global prayers and request privacy at this time.
