It's been over 10 years since their last release Rise from the Embers, but Jacksonville, FL melodic punk rockers, The Softer Side, have announced they are back with a brand new EP to be released on High End Denim Records. Formed in 1999 and comprised of members of legendary North Florida bands Inspection 12, Whaleface, Hatrick, and Redline, The Softer Side are known for tight guitar riffs, pounding drums, creative bass lines, and super melodic and catchy vocals. Their new EP, Deathbed, will be a treat for old fans, and new fans about to discover them for the first time, showcasing 6 songs blending skate punk, pop punk, rock, folk, and metal influences.
For fans of said member bands, as well as Yellowcard, No Use For A Name, The Ataris, Face To Face, Strung Out, Rufio, and the like, The Softer Side is perfectly crafted 90s skate punk. The EP will drop in its entirety on April 9 but keep your ears peeled for a few more singles first!
