David Devo Oosthuizen had a chat with Neil Breytenbach on his project called 'Cantrel'Neil is a KZN Based Songwriter & Producer and long-time keyboardist for SA rock band Prime Circle. This is his project where he will write and produce his own music while inviting different vocalists to join per song. His Latest single ’Tough Life’ features Rap Sensation Velosity. The track was Engineered & Produced in South Africa & Mixed and Mastered in Germany. Drawing influences from Artists such as ‘Crosses’‘Depeche Mode’ & Fort MinorCantrel is busy writing a full-length album which will be released in 2018.

Cantrel, led by Neil Breytenbach, the brain child behind this Songwriter, producer/vocal-collective concept. Starting as a creative outlet for the Multi – talented songwriter, keyboardist, producer from Durban South Africa, the collective subsequently became a commercial reality and The ‘Cantrel Collective’ was designed as an Alternative Hip Hop Rock Pop style of music, drawing inspiration from bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Crosses, Fort Minor, Muse, Rage Against The Machine, The Beastie Boys & Twenty one Pilots while still keeping true to a unique genre of its own.
