Johannesburg, 28 August 2025: This September, CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation SA is bringing its high-energy Cyclethon back to Johannesburg in support of children and teenagers diagnosed with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders across South Africa.

The event takes place on Sunday, 7 September 2025, at Melrose Arch, proudly hosted by Bidfood. CHOC aims to raise awareness, generate vital funds, and inspire communities to unite in support of these young fighters.

United by Purpose

Childhood cancer remains one of the leading causes of disease-related deaths among children worldwide. In South Africa, many young patients face hurdles including late diagnoses and limited access to care. CHOC supports children, teenagers, and their families through psychosocial services, accommodation, nutrition, transport, and more.

This year’s Johannesburg Cyclethon focuses on community spirit, pedalling with purpose, and demonstrating to families that they are never alone.
