Berlin-based indie rock band KENSINGTON ROAD is set to embark on their very first tour of South Africa this November and December, in support of their latest album, Charlie is Alive. Known for their powerful blend of indie rock and alternative pop, KENSINGTON ROAD’s sound has captivated audiences worldwide, including Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, and the US. Now, South African fans will finally get the chance to experience the band live, as they perform a series of intimate shows across the country brought to you by STFD.

The upcoming South African tour will feature Stefan Tomek (singer, guitarist) and Michael Pfrenger (keys) performing as a duo, offering fans an up-close and personal experience of their latest music. The intimate format allows for a more direct interaction with the audience, emphasizing the stories and emotions behind each song.

For Tomek, this tour is particularly meaningful, “South Africa has almost become a second home to us. We were here for a longer period during the pandemic with our twin boys and fell in love with this beautiful country and its people. It has also inspired a lot of music and songs for the last two albums.
