Johannesburg, 26 August 2025 – Melrose Arch, Johannesburg’s most prestigious lifestyle precinct, will host the first-ever All White Classics on the Square on Saturday, 13 September 2025. This innovative event fuses timeless classical music with contemporary energy, featuring The Chamber Orchestra of Johannesburg, conducted by Kutlwano Masote, alongside celebrated DJ Courtnaé Paul. Attendees are encouraged to dress in white to complement the square’s themed décor.

A Fusion of Classical and Contemporary Sounds
The concert takes place on The Square, known for its mosaic tiles, cobblestone setting, and vibrant dining scene. Audiences will experience two sets: the first, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, featuring soloists Bonolo Kgaile, Pendo Masote, and Jonathan Mayer; the second, DJ vs Maestro, a creative battle blending orchestral arrangements with modern DJ beats, highlighting the synergy of classical and contemporary music.
Tickets and Event Details
Tickets are priced at R300 per person, available online at Melrose Arch Upcoming Events. The performance runs from 2 pm to 4 pm, offering a cultural spring afternoon in Johannesburg’s distinctive precinct.

From 13 to 14 September, Melrose Arch will host a Spring Playground on the Piazza, open from 10 am to 4 pm. Activities include obstacle courses, jumping castles, giant board games, face painting, and group activities led by Clamber Club entertainers. Children over five can enjoy a trampoline bungee (max weight 80 kg). Entry is R60 per hour or R120 unlimited, with bookings available onsite.
