Pietermaritzburg, 27 May 2026: Liberty Midlands Mall is giving shoppers even more reason to enjoy their time at the centre with the launch of “Passport to Paradise,” a new promotion that will see lucky shoppers heading off on a dream getaway simply by shopping at the mall.

Now running until 31 May, the first phase of the campaign offers shoppers the chance to win a holiday for two to the Drakensberg, with additional holiday experiences still to come later this year.

A Shopping Trip With a Travel Twist

To take part, shoppers must collect a Passport to Paradise entry card from the information desk and earn stamps as they shop. One stamp is awarded for every R350 spent at participating stores. Once 10 stamps have been collected, completed entry cards can be placed into the competition entry box in the mall for a chance to win.

The campaign has been designed to reward loyal shoppers while adding an element of excitement and discovery to the shopping experience. Passport to Paradise will return in August with a Midlands Meander getaway up for grabs, followed by a Durban holiday in November. Shoppers who participate across the campaign phases will also stand a chance to win a grand prize international holiday for two later in the year.
